As part of our ongoing effort to provide the most secure web hosting environment possible, we have updated the version of PHP on our Webfarm.
After recent testing, we will be updating PHP to the latest version today. The previous revision was 5.2.10, and we’re moving to 5.2.11. The update includes some bugfixes and minor security fixes. We are also enabling the JSON module in this update.
Thanks to Joseph Carpenter for the suggestion to publish software version numbers on a page here. You should now see a “Versions” button at the top of this screen which links to a page with that information. The page includes version numbers for Apache, MySQL, PHP, Python, Perl, and Ruby. If you think of others you’d like to see, let us know.
